Mahdzir: Six students in Perak bullying case suspended for two weeks

PETALING JAYA: Six of the students involved in the Perak bullying case have been suspended for two weeks, says Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid (pic).

Bernama reported that the Rural Development Minister said on Saturday (Dec 11) that the suspension is with immediate effect and added that expulsion has been proposed.

Mahdzir said that the Hostel Disciplinary Committee has called up ten students who were involved with the incident.

"In the report that was prepared, six students hit the bullying victim while four at the location were found to have conspired with and provoked (the bullies). All the students involved ranged from Form One to Form Three,"

This comes after he said the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) would conduct a detailed investigation into the viral video of a bullying incident where a student was seen in several clips taking punches from his peers.
