Sarawak Polls: Court dismisses application by youths to vote in state election

KUCHING: The High Court here has dismissed a judicial review application filed by three youths seeking to exercise their right to vote in the 12th Sarawak state election.

Judicial Commissioner Alexander Siew said automatic voter registration, which would come into effect along with Undi18 on Dec 15, did not mean instantaneous voter registration upon attaining the age of 18.
