SIBU: An Independent candidate for the Dudong seat, Engga Unchat, has withdrawn from the election at the 11th hour – reducing the number of contenders for the seat from eight to seven.
His decision to pull out was made known to the constituency's returning officer Abdul Razak Awang Bini via a letter on Friday (Dec 17) night.
