Bentong chalet tragedy: Body of a woman found, two more still missing


BENTONG: The body of a woman, believed to be one of the three individuals who went missing after being swept away by strong river currents near a chalet in Bentong, Pahang, was found on Tuesday (Dec 21) morning.

Genting Highlands Fire and Rescue Station chief Yusri Abdullah Sani said the body was found at 10.15am and the search and rescue (SAR) team took about half an hour to remove the victim who was buried under the pile of logs and sand at station two (the area where victims of the tragedy are believed to be).
