Floods: Malaysia's hottest, driest town wrecked by water


SEREMBAN: Jelebu is said to be Negeri Sembilan’s most fertile district and is especially known for its durian species. It also receives the least rainfall in the state but ironically, Jelebu was one of the worst-hit areas during the Dec 18 floods.

That day, seven other states, besides Negeri Sembilan, were also battered by floods that were described as the most serious in 50 years.
