MAIWP ALLOCATES RM35MIL FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) has channeled RM2.25mil as initial assistance to Federal Territories flood victims amid rising concerns for the situation. The move is also in line with Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s order for each agency to provide immediate assistance to the victims.

These funds are channeled through the Sentuhan Kasih MAIWP-Misi Bantuan Banjir 1.0 1.0 on Dec 23-26 at several flood victims relief centres in Kuala Lumpur.
