KOTA KINABALU: The Opposition lawmaker accusing the Sabah Forestry Department of sweeping cases of illegal logging under the carpet did not check his facts first, says its chief conservator of forests, Datuk Frederick Kugan.
Kugan said the allegations by Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin were made with bias and prejudice without a proper understanding of the facts.
