Sabah welcomes AirAsia's new KK-Kuala Terengganu route

KOTA KINABALU: AirAsia's introduction of a direct flight between Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Terengganu will boost domestic tourism as well as strengthen ties between Sabah and Terengganu, says state Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Jafry Ariffin (pic).

"On behalf of the Sabah government, I would like to thank AirAsia for choosing Kota Kinabalu as one of its new routes and we hope to continue working together to revive the tourism industry, especially in Sabah," he said in a statement on Monday (Jan 31).
