Technician falls to death in lift shaft


KUALA LUMPUR: A 32-year-old lift technician had fallen to his death inside an elevator shaft. Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar said the man had fallen after stepping over a waste bin on Friday.

“The incident went unnoticed as the lift was not in use,” he said, adding that police were notified the next day.
