Indonesian workers’ well-being is paramount, says Saravanan

PUTRAJAYA: The well-being of Indonesian workers in Malaysia, particularly in the matter of their salaries, off days and welfare, are paramount in the planned memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Jakarta, says Datuk Seri M. Saravanan.

The Human Resources Minister said both he and Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin shared the same view on this matter, disagreeing with Indonesian ambassador to Malaysia Hermono who said the two ministers had given contradictory statements in Jakarta recently.
