Former assistant of Kuala Muda AADK fined RM10,000 for graft


ALOR SETAR: A former assistant at Kuala Muda National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) was fined RM10,000 on Monday (Feb 14) by the Sessions Court here, after pleading guilty to an alternative charge of receiving a bribe of RM3,000 in 2016.

Judge Harmi Thamri Mohamad meted out the punishment to Erwan Yahya, 46, and ordered the accused to serve six months in jail if he failed to pay the fine.
