Old court orders stand – and children return to mum

KUALA LUMPUR: An order by the High Court on March 31 last year and interim ex-parte order dated Dec 20, 2019, both of which granted single mother Loh Siew Hong the sole custody, care and control of her three children, are valid ones and have to be respected, the High Court here has ruled.

Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah then ordered for the immediate release of the children from the care of the Welfare Department to Loh, who was seen sobbing in the public gallery after the decision.
