Covid-19: Total of 17.3% of M'sia's five to 11-year-olds have been given first dose of a vaccine


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 615,671 individuals, or 17.3% of the child population aged between five and 11 years old, in Malaysia have received the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of Tuesday (Feb 22).

According to the Health Ministry's CovidNow portal, a total of 14,176,241 people, or 60.3% of the adult population in the country, have received Covid-19 booster doses while 22,945,612 individuals, or 97.5%, have completed their vaccinations.
