PM: Foreign Ministry and AG's Chambers to release statement on US$14bil Sulu payment 'instruction'


SEPANG: The Foreign Ministry and Attorney General’s Chambers will release a statement on an "instruction" by a French arbitrator for the government to pay US$14bil (RM62.6bil) to the descendants of the last Sulu sultan.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said a joint statement would be released soon.
