Two remanded for bribery to TNB men over bitcoin


SEREMBAN: Two men have been remanded for six days over allegations that they offered RM75,000 in bribes to Tenaga Nasional Bhd employees to turn a blind eye to their power theft to mine bitcoin.

The order to remand the men, aged 49 and 50, was signed by special remand court assistant registrar Mas Azimimin Ahmad following an application by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) prosecuting officer Riduan Kadri.
