Anti-party hopping and limiting PM tenure Bill requires further deliberation, says Wan Junaidi


KUALA LUMPUR: The tabling of the Federal Constitution (Amendments) 2022 Bill on anti-party hopping and limiting the tenure of the Prime Minister has been postponed for further deliberation.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said the Cabinet decided that the Bill still required further consultation through engagement sessions with other stakeholders particularly, Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional.
