Cops detain 13 for drink-driving, issue 660 summonses in weekend traffic operation


KUALA LUMPUR: Thirteen men were detained for driving while intoxicated following a traffic operation in several parts of the city from Friday (March 18) to Sunday (March 20).

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) chief Asst Comm Sarifudin Mohd Salleh said they were detained during the operation held at the city centre, Jalan Pahang, Jalan Kuching, Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Tun Razak and the AKLEH expressway from Friday until Sunday.
