Covid-19: Over 35% of children in Malaysia have been vaccinated


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 1,272,121 children aged five to 11 years, or 35.8% of that age group in the country, have received their first dose of vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of Tuesday (March 22).

According to the CovidNow website, 2,845,415 adolescents aged 12 to 17 or 91.5% from that age bracket have received both doses of a vaccine, while 2,943,210 or 94.6% have received at least one dose.
