Visiting S’pore? Apply for VEP online and get travel insurance


JOHOR BARU: Applications for vehicle entry permit (VEP) for Malaysian-registered vehicles entering Singapore from midnight on March 31 must be done ahead online, says the republic’s Land Transport Authority (LTA).

Besides that, Singapore now requires short-term visitors to purchase mandatory travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 (RM93,309) to cover Covid-19-related medical treatment if necessary.
