‘More women leaders needed in defence’

KUALA LUMPUR: Female participation in the decision-making levels of the defence sector has become vital even during peacetime, says Brig-Jen Dr Normah Samsuri.

The dental director at the Malaysian Army West Field Commanding headquarters said the participation of more women in the higher levels of defence and security would help in dealing with global pandemics, natural disasters and even cyberwarfare.
