Builders association says construction material prices will impact home ownership, calls for price controls


JOHOR BARU: The continued hike in cement and concrete prices over the the past two years is expected to have a "snowball effect" in various industries.

In a joint statement, the Johor Master Builders Association and Melaka Builders Association said the first victims to bear the brunt of the sudden soaring costs of construction materials were builders who undertake private projects.
