KANGAR: The Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) has set the zakat fitrah rate for Muslims in the state to remain at RM7.
The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail said the rate was set in line with the decision of the Perlis Fatwa Committee Meeting which maintained the fitrah rate this year based on the price of rice which is a common staple among the community.
