MERSING: Pulau Tokong Sanggol near here is known for the strong and uncertain currents surrounding it, thus making it less than ideal for first-time divers.

According to Lt Muhammad Hazwan Mohd, a military diver from the 22nd Commando Regiment Special Service Group (GGK), the island has been one of the locations for military personnel to conduct diving training because of its challenging conditions.
