Counsel objects to info provided by MACC officer in Bung’s graft trial


KUALA LUMPUR: A lawyer objected to the information provided by a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer in the corruption trial of Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin and his wife Datin Seri Zizie Izette Abdul Samad.

Counsel Datuk K. Kumaraendran who is representing Zizie Izette said the complaint made by MACC senior superintendent Mohd Haris Ibrahim, 42, who is the 27th prosecution witness was hearsay which could be prejudicial to Bung Moktar.
