NIBONG TEBAL: When planting trees for the sake of the Earth, opt for fruit trees, says Penang Forestry director Muhammad Ezhar Yusuf.

He said this was because the fruits could feed birds, squirrels, bats and other wildlife, while the flowers, nectar and pollen can provide sustenance for thousands of insects.
