Domestic trade ministry to conduct random checks on premises to enforce new Covid-19 rules, says Nanta

PUTRAJAYA: Random checks on the status of employees and visitors at business premises will be carried out throughout the country to stop the spread of Covid-19, says the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry.

Its minister, Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi (pic) said the measure was taken as all individuals have been allowed to enter business premises regardless of their vaccination status starting May 1, except for those who are Covid-19 positive and under House Surveillance Order (HSO).
