Descendants of Dukut Maharajo and Halijah Awang at a Hari Raya gathering at the Azumu Tak Hall in Kampung Kepayang, Ipoh on Tuesday (May 3).

IPOH: The Dato Azumu Tak hall in Kampung Kepayang here was a hive of activity as about 1,200 family members and descendants of Dukut Maharajo and Halijah Awang held a grand gathering.

Those who came for the biennial gathering, which was held in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, included kin who returned from the United States, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.
