KUALA LUMPUR: Scammers ran off with over RM10,000 after duping prospective clients over fake Ramadhan bazaar booths.
City Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Asst Comm Mahidisham Ishak, in a statement on Monday (May 9), said that six reports were lodged between March 30 and April 14 over supposed rentals of bazaar booths at the Bukit Jalil Stadium as part of the Progam Bazar Ramadhan dan Festival Aidilfitri.
