Johor's unemployment rate drops 0.7% in Q1 2022

ISKANDAR PUTERI: The unemployment rate in Johor has dropped 0.7% to 3.2% for the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year (2021).

State Youth, Sports, Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Human Resource Committee chairman Mohd Hairi Mad Shah (pic) said the number of unemployed in the state also recorded a decrease to 58,600 individuals in the first quarter of this year compared to 70,800 during the same period last year.
