Govt waiting for impact studies before starting work on new Perak highway

IPOH: The construction of the proposed alternative expressway from Gopeng to Kuala Kangsar will be given the green light once the social impact and traffic studies are ready, says Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

The Works Minister said the project had been approved in principle, but conditions imposed by the Malaysian Highway Authority and the government must be met first.
