Johor has prosecuted 125 traders for chicken and egg price violations, says exco man

ISKANDAR PUTERI: A total of 125 businesses have been brought to court for selling chickens and eggs beyond the ceiling price in Johor, says a state exco.

The 10 farmers, 15 suppliers and 100 traders were slapped with compound notices totalling RM102,600 for violating the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011, said investment, trade and consumer affairs committee chairman Lee Ting Han.
