Decision in Abdul Azeez's appeal postponed as MACC looking at new leads

PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal on Friday (July 1) postponed to Aug 26 to give its verdict on former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim's (pic) appeal to strike out his corruption and money laundering charges.

This was after Abdul Azeez's lawyer Amer Hamzah Arshad requested the court to postpone its decision scheduled today following a reply he received from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on June 27 relating to the Baling Member of Parliament's representation letter to the Attorney-General Chambers (AGC).
