Nepal bans sale of famous pani puri snacks


PUBLIC health officials in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, have temporarily banned the sale of the popular roadside snack, pani puri, to curb a rise in cholera cases, Makkal Osai reported.

Cholera, which spreads mainly through unclean water, has landed 12 people in hospitals between May 19 and now.
