Police to call in Tok Mat over remark

KUALA LUMPUR: The police will call in Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan for his statement following an interview where he allegedly made an insensitive remark about Hindus.

During a recent interview with Asia Times, a Hong Kong-based news outlet, the Umno deputy president has referred to kavadi as a “burden” as he explained Umno’s defeat in the 14th General Election.
