Ministry calls for vigilance following malaria deaths

IPOH: There are seven deaths involving malaria infection detected from Jan 2 to July 9 this year, says the Health Ministry (MOH).

Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali said six of the cases were reported from zoonotic malaria infection (transmitted from animals), while one case involved local human malaria infection.
