KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) received a total of 121 reports related to fraudulent haj and umrah pilgrimage packages using furada visas against three travel agencies, involving losses of more than RM5mil.
PDRM secretary Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin said that Kuala Lumpur recorded the highest number of reports, with 48 reports lodged involving losses amounting to RM2mil, followed by Selangor with 30 reports, involving losses totalling RM956,300.
