KUALA LUMPUR: A strong partnership with Japan helped build up the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), says its former director-general.
Admiral (retired) Datuk Ahmad Puzi Ab Kahar, when met at the Japanese Ambassador’s formal residence here, said the agency's Japanese counterpart the Japan Coast Guard was instrumental in MMEA's earlier years.
