Penang Yang di-Pertua Negeri wants state to learn from other countries on modernising agriculture sector

GEORGE TOWN: The Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Penang Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak wants the state government to learn from countries on modernising the state's agriculture sector in an effort to increase food security and safety.

"As we step into the technological era of the fourth industrial revolution, agricultural practices must be modernised so that the production and income of farmers can be increased in line with technological progress and changing times,” he said.
