No Sulu recruiting drive by any individuals or groups in Sabah


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah police have dismissed claims that a group is seeking support of “Sabahans with Filipino descent” for the so-called Sulu heirs who are in the midst of pushing for a multibillion-dollar arbitration award against Malaysia.

Sabah police commissioner Datuk Idris Abdullah said investigation and intelligence had shown that there were no individuals or groups trying to mount the alleged recruitment drive.
