Orang Asli policy to be finalised by year-end


THE Orang Asli Development Policy (DPOA) is expected to be finalised in the fourth quarter of this year and be implemented in the middle of 2023, says Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid.

He said the policy, which will focus on matters related to land management, education, health, the economy, leadership, infrastructure, and culture, was aimed at boosting efforts to bring the Orang Asli community into the mainstream of development.
