Umno hopes ROS will reply at the soonest over constitutional amendment, says Tok Mat

SEREMBAN: Umno hopes the Registrar of Societies (ROS) will reply to its application to amend its constitution to allow the postponement of party elections at the soonest, says Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

The Umno deputy president said the party had no intention of "pressuring" ROS but needed a prompt reply so that it could make preparations for party elections in the event its request was rejected.
