Baling floods: Kampung Padang Empang relief centre closes


BALING: The temporary evacuation centre at the Kampung Padang Empang hall, near here, which has been operating since Thursday (July 28), was closed at 10am Saturday (July 30) after all evacuees were allowed to return home.

Baling district Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM) deputy officer Lieutenant Dzulhaidy Mohd Khalil said that most of the flood victims had cleaned their houses since Friday (July 29) when the flood waters receded and it was safe for them to return home.
