MERSING: For more than 50 years, restaurant owner and cook Siew Chee Heng has had only one aim – to serve authentic Cantonese dishes to his customers as his father and grandfather had done before him.

At 75, his desire has not waned. While others his age are enjoying a laid-back life, Siew is still passionate about cooking every dish that comes out of his kitchen for lunch and dinner.
