PETALING JAYA: The implementation of the anti-hopping legislation should go hand-in-hand with amendments to state laws and the constitutions of political parties to meet its aim of maintaining a stable government, say civil society groups.
Although the Anti-Hopping Bill is a step in the right direction towards ensuring political stability, there is still a need for further accountability and transparency among the elected representatives, they said.
