Sabah to have two additional GOF battalions, says IGP


KOTA KINABALU: Two new battalions of the General Operations Force (GOF) will be set up in Sabah in order to beef up security in the state, says Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani.

The Inspector-General of Police said the addition of these brigades meant that Sabah will in future have altogether seven battalions established statewide.
