Loke: Party proposing ‘toe-the-line’ provision

KUALA LUMPUR: The DAP is proposing to add a new provision in its constitution to sack any member of Parliament or assemblyman who fails to toe the party line in policy matters, says its secretary-general Loke Siew Fook.

He said the proposed amendment was to plug a loophole in the recently-passed Constitutional (Amendment)(No.3) Bill 2022 to prevent party hopping.
