MMEA detains Russian ship for anchoring illegally off Johor


KOTA TINGGI: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has detained a Russian-registered tanker for illegally anchoring in waters off Johor.

Johor MMEA Tanjung Sedili acting director Maritime Commander Mohd Najib Sam said the tanker was detained on Sunday (Aug 21) at 3pm, about 23.6 nautical miles (43.70km) east of Tanjung Siang here.
