Puad's statement unbecoming, doesn't reflect Umno's stand, say party leaders

KUALA LUMPUR: Several Umno leaders described the statement by Umno supreme council member Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi (pic) that the party does not need a poster boy for the 15th General Election (GE15) as unbecoming and one that does not reflect the party’s stand.

Puad, who is also Johor state assembly Speaker, in a Facebook post Wednesday (Aug 24), said having a poster boy was no longer relevant and an easy target for slander.
