Jakim: Zaharah's appointment to help MKI committee meet goals


PUTRAJAYA: The Islamic Development Malaysia Department (Jakim) is confident that the appointment of the former Chief Judge of Malaya Tan Sri Zaharah Ibrahim (pic) as the chairman of the National Islamic Legislation Committee of the National Council of Islamic Religious Affairs (MKI) can lead it to achieve its goals.

Jakim director-general Datuk Hakimah Mohd Yusoff said the department was pleased with Zaharah’s appointment based on her extensive experience and credibility in the legal field.
