No reason for EC to disagree with 35% seat quota for Sabah, S'wak, says Kitingan

KOTA KINABALU: The restoration of Sabah and Sarawak's demand for 35% of the seats in the Dewan Rakyat is recognition that there would be no Malaysia without the two Bornean territories, says Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.

As such, the Sabah Deputy Chief Minister said the Election Commission (EC) should accept the demand to reflect the equal sharing concept between the Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.
